As a modern omnichannel company, Haka Kunz faces the challenge of shining with its products on all sales channels, starting with the web store, via Amazon and other marketplaces, to B2B and direct sales. To ensure that the sustainable products from
the household, laundry and body care sectors reach customers more quickly and that orders are shipped without errors, the company required a new technology for picking customer orders.
Solution
Haka Kunz uses NIMMSTA's HS 50 wearables to optimize the picking process. The hands-free scanning allows workers to use both hands, avoiding unnecessary handling. This enables packages to be prepared for shipment faster and more efficiently. The HS 50 is intuitive to use and ready for operation after a brief introduction. It displays the picking order and provides feedback for each scan through audio, visual, and haptic signals, ensuring the correct barcode is always captured. The ergonomic hand straps are adjustable, and the device can be triggered via touchscreen or button, making the process easier for employees and speeding up operations.
Erfahrung
NIMMSTA was successfully introduced at Haka Kunz in the first integration stage and
is currently used for all product scans (EAN codes) as part of the order picking process. Since day 1, the company has guaranteed a zero error rate in this area, a significantly more efficient picking flow and, as a result, extremely high customer satisfaction. In the near future, the company is aiming for full integration of the technology. This means upgrading from NIMMSTA BASIC to NMMSTA PRO.
This does not require any hardware replacement, only a software upgrade. With NIMMSTA PRO, all functions can be used, especially the touch function.
